Change of government.

Section 88

SEC. 88. Change of government.—The city government provided for in this charter shall be organized upon the approval of this Act and upon appointment by the President and the qualification of the mayor and the majority of the members of the municipal board. Pending the next general elections for provincial and municipal officials, the office of the elective members of the municipal board shall be filled by appointment of the President of the Philippines, with the consent of the Commission on Appointments of the Congress of the Philippines.
