SEC. 2. The Ceramic Processing Plant shall have the following functions: (a) Process and compound whatever clay or other ceramic raw materials which may be found in the locality for the manufacture of ceramic products or for sale to potters at cost; (b) Mix ceramic materials for glaze to be used in the manufacture of ceramic products and to be sold at cost to potters; (c) Construct a community kiln for use of local potters at nominal cost; (d) Teach, guide and demonstrate to local potters the making of different kinds of ceramic products such as structural hollow clay blocks, building bricks, titles, and household-potter wares like flower vases, art wares, containers, dinnerwares, drinking vessels, insulators, etc.; (e) Study the efficient utilization of ceramic raw materials of the locality; and (f) Conduct such researches or studies as may be necessary for the efficient and effective functioning of the plant.
