SEC. 2. Section twenty-nine of the same Act is further amended to read as follows: "SEC. 29. Compensation of City Fiscal and his assistants.—The City Fiscal and his assistants shall receive salaries herein set forth, which shall be paid from the funds of the city: "(a) City fiscal shall have the salary of a Judge of Court of First Instance. "(b) First assistant city fiscal, at one thousand two hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. "(c) Second assistant city fiscal, at nine hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. "(d) Two third assistant city fiscals, at nine hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. "(e) Five fourth assistant city fiscals, at nine hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. "(f) Five fifth assistant city fiscals, at nine hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. ''(g) Seven sixth assistant city fiscals, at nine hundred pesos less than that herein provided in the next preceding paragraph. "(h) Six seventh assistant city fiscals, at twelve thousand pesos per annum."
