Section 7
SEC. 7. All eligibles who have attained the age of sixty years and have rendered at least twenty years of continuous and satisfactory service as provided under the provisions of this Act shall have the retirement made compulsory, except when the person concerned requests to remain in the service and the Chief of Police or the Chief of the Fire Department, as the case may be, specifically recommends favorable action, because of his physical capacity to perform the work.
