Section 20

SEC. 20. This Act shall take effect upon its approval: Provided, That the President of the Philippines is hereby authorized to suspend the operation of any provisions of this Act if and when the Congress of the United States approves the pending GI Bill of Rights applicable to the Philippines the provisions of which are identical or similar to the provisions of this Act. Approved, October 18, 1946.
