Section 1

SECTION 1. The second paragraph of section seven of Republic Act Numbered Five hundred and twenty-five, otherwise known as the "Charter of the City of Iligan" is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 7. The Mayor.-* * *. "He shall receive a salary of not exceeding four thousand pesos per annum. With the approval of the President of the Philippines first had the Mayor may be provided in addition to his salary, a non-commutable allowance not exceeding two thousand pesos per annum."
