§ 120 — Conditions for copyright to subsist in sound recordings

120. Subject to the provisions of this Act, copyright subsists in a sound recording if —(a)

the maker of the recording is a qualified person when the recording is made; or

(b)

the recording is made or first published —(i)

in Singapore;

(ii)

by or under the direction or control of the Government; or

(iii)

on or after 10 April 1987 by or under the direction or control of a prescribed international organisation.
