§ 123 — Conditions for copyright to subsist in films
123.—(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, copyright subsists in a film if —(a)
the maker of the film is a qualified person for the whole or a substantial part of the period during which the film is made; or
(b)
the film is made or first published —(i)
in Singapore;
(ii)
by or under the direction or control of the Government; or
(iii)
on or after 10 April 1987 by or under the direction or control of a prescribed international organisation.
(2) This section does not apply to a film if the making of the film was completed before 10 April 1987.
