Section 126 — Conditions for copyright to subsist in broadcasts

(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, copyright subsists in a broadcast if the broadcast is made from a place in Singapore by the holder of a broadcasting licence.

(2)This section does not apply to —

(a)a broadcast made before 10 April 1987; and

(b)a broadcast made after that date that is a repetition of a broadcast made before that date.
