§ 200 — Copying broadcasts or cable programmes for educational purposes

200.—(1) If the conditions in subsection (2) are met, it is a permitted use to make a copy of a broadcast or cable programme.(2) The conditions are —(a)

the copy is made by or on behalf of the body administering an educational institution; and

(b)

the copy is not used except for the purposes of a course of education at that institution.

(3) A permitted use of a broadcast or cable programme under this section is also a permitted use of a work or protected performance included in the broadcast or programme.
