§ 54 — What constitutes publication of an edition of an authorial work

54.—(1) Subject to sections 58, 59 and 60, an edition of an authorial work is published only if copies of the edition have been supplied to the public (whether by sale, over the Internet, or otherwise).(2) Section 39 does not apply to subsection (1).
