s 55 Care of sanitary conveniences
55.—(1) The owner and the occupier of every building in or in connection with which a toilet or urinal is provided must cause the flushing apparatus thereof to be kept supplied with water sufficient for flushing. (2) Where sanitary conveniences are used in common by the members of 2 or more families or by members of the public or by employees, the owner, occupier, chief or principal tenant or the person in charge of the building concerned (as the case may be) must maintain the sanitary conveniences in a clean and hygienic manner without causing any nuisance to sight or smell.
