Medical Registration Act 1997 s 75

s 75 Transitional provisions

75.—(1) [Deleted by Act 34 of 2020 wef 01/07/2022] (2) Despite sections 20, 21 and 23, the Minister may, subject to such conditions as the Minister may determine, by regulations exempt any person or person within a class of persons who, at any time on or before 24 January 2003, was engaged as a house officer, or in such other similar capacity as may be approved by the Medical Council, in a hospital or an institution approved by the Medical Council under section 25, from the requirement that the person must —(a) in the case of section 20(1), hold a certificate of experience; (b) in the case of section 20(2), 21(1) or 23, comply with section 26; or (c) in the case of section 21(2), hold a certificate referred to in paragraph (b) of that subsection, before the person may be registered.
