Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour Convention) Act 2014 s 5

s 5 Minimum age of seafarers

5.—(1) A person must not cause or permit a person below 16 years of age to be employed on board a ship. (2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
