In section 79 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981 (vehicles excluded from regulation as private hire vehicles) for the words “ section 270 or 271 of and Schedule 5 to the Burgh Police (Scotland) Act 1892” there shall be substituted the words “ sections 10 to 23 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 ” .
