(1) The title of this Order is the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 (Commencement No.1) (Wales) Order 2007 and it applies in relation to Wales.
(2) In this Orderβ
β the Act β means the Disability Discrimination Act 2005;
βthe 1995 Act β means the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 .

30 March 2008 is the day appointed for the coming into force so far as relates to Wales, of the following provisions of the Actβ
(a) section 9 (recognition of disabled persons' badges issued outside Great Britain);
(b) Part 2 of Schedule 1 and section 19(1) so far as relates to that Part of that Schedule;
(c) the entries in Schedule 2 in respect of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 , and section 19(2) so far as relates to those entries.
