Section 1 Title and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure 2010 (Commencement) Order 2011.

(2) In this Order " the Measure " (" y Mesur ") means the Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure 2010.

Section 2 Commencement on the day after the day on which this Order is made

Subject to article 3, the Measure comes into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.

Section 3 Commencement on 1 January 2012

The following provisions of the Measure come into force on 1 January 2012—

(a) Section 2(2) (duty to implement strategy);

(b) Section 3(3) (information and advice pursuant to strategy to be provided free of charge);

(c) Section 6(1) to (3) (submission of draft strategy to Welsh Ministers);

(d) Section 7 (public access to strategy);

(e) Section 9 (amendment to the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970).
