(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government and Planning (Amendment) Act 1981. (2) Paragraph 6 of the Schedule to this Act shall come into operation on the date on which there expires the period of four months beginning with the day on which this Act is passed. (3) Subject to subsection (2) above, this Act shall come into operation on the date on which there expires the period of one month beginning with the day on which it is passed.
