Article 1

The state aid that France plans to implement in favour of producers and traders of liqueur wines totalling EUR 12 000 000 is compatible with the common market under Article 87(3)(c) of the Treaty. The implementation of this aid is therefore authorised.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the French Republic.
