Article 27
1. Additional rules of a procedural nature necessary for the efficient processing of the appeals and rules necessary for the organisation of the work of the Board of Appeal, including rules concerning the allocation of cases between members, may be laid down in accordance with the procedure set out in paragraph 3. 2. Practice directions to parties and interveners and instructions related to the preparations for and conduct of hearings before the Board of Appeal, and to the lodging and service of written pleadings or observations may be adopted in accordance with the procedure set out in paragraph 3. 3. The Chairman and the other two members appointed in accordance with the first subparagraph of Article 89(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 shall adopt the rules and measures provided for in this Regulation by a majority of votes.
