Article 97
The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission shall be empowered to obtain any necessary information or explanations regarding budgetary matters within their fields of competence.

Article 98
The Management Board shall, as far as is necessary and with the Commission’s prior consent, adopt the Europol Financial Implementing Rules, on a proposal from its Director. This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . Prior to the entry into force, this regulation shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union .
