From the date of taking up their duties until the last day of the month in which they cease to hold office, public office holders shall be entitled to a basic salary equal to the amount resulting from application of the following percentages to the basic salary of an official of the Union on the third step of grade 16: Salary Institution President Vice-President High-Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Member Registrar Secretary-General European Council 138 % Council 100 % European Commission 138 % 125 % 130 % 112,5 % Court of Justice 138 % 125 % 112,5 % 101 % General Court 112,5 % 108 % 104 % 95 % Specialised Tribunals 104 % 100 % 90 % Court of Auditors 115 % 108 %
