Council Decision (EU) 2021/463 of 9 March 2021 on the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the Administrative Committee established by the Customs Convention on the international transport of goods under cover of TIR Carnets, as regards the amendments to that Convention

Article 1

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf within the Administrative Committee established by the Customs Convention on the international transport of goods under cover of TIR carnets, during its 74 th session on 9-12 February 2021 or a subsequent session, as regards the amendments to that Convention, shall be based on the draft amendments attached to this Decision.

Minor technical changes to the draft amendments may be agreed to by the representatives of the Union in the Administrative Committee, without further decision of the Council.

Article 2

The position referred to in Article 1 shall be expressed by the Commission. Member States shall express the Union position when a formal vote is taken in the Administrative Committee, acting jointly in the interest of the Union.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
