Article 1
Article 2 of Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/626 is amended as follows:
(1)
point (e) is replaced by the following:
‘(e)
the project shall be situated in the Union, in an European Free Trade Association (EFTA) State or in an overseas country or territory linked to a Member State as set out in Annex II to the Treaty. In the case of a cross-border project, the principal part of the implementation of project shall take place in the Union, in the EFTA States or in an overseas country or territory linked to a Member State as set out in Annex II to the Treaty;’;
(2)
point (g) is replaced by the following:
‘(g)
the project implementation already commenced or is expected to commence within three years from the date of submission to the InvestEU Portal;’.
