Article 1

Annex III to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/2235 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

For a transitional period until 15 February 2023, consignments of certain products of animal origin, accompanied by the appropriate animal health/official certificates issued in accordance with the models set out in Chapters 1, 33, 34 and 35 of Annex III to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/2235, as applicable before the amendments made to that Implementing Regulation by this Implementing Regulation, shall continue to be authorised for the entry into the Union provided that the animal health/official certificate was issued no later than 15 November 2022.

Article 3

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

ANNEX Annex III to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/2235 is amended as follows: (a) in Chapter 1, in the model animal health/official certificate for the entry into the Union of fresh meat intended for human consumption, excluding mechanically separated meat, of domestic bovine animals (Model BOV), in the Notes to Part I, Box reference I.27 is replaced by the following: ‘Box reference I.27: Use the appropriate Harmonised System (HS) code: 02.01, 02.02, 02.06, 05.04 or 15.02. Description of consignment:   “Nature of commodity”: Indicate “carcase-whole”, “carcase-side”, “carcase-quarters”, “offal” or “cuts”.   “Treatment type”: If appropriate, indicate “de-boned”, “bone in” and/or “matured”. If frozen, indicate the date of freezing (mm/yy) of the cuts/pieces.’; (b) Chapters 33 to 35 are replaced by the following: ‘CHAPTER 33 MODEL ANIMAL HEALTH/OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE FOR THE ENTRY INTO THE UNION OF RAW MILK INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION (MODEL MILK-RM) CHAPTER 34 MODEL ANIMAL HEALTH/OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE FOR THE ENTRY INTO THE UNION OF DAIRY PRODUCTS INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION DERIVED FROM RAW MILK OR THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A SPECIFIC RISK-MITIGATING TREATMENT (MODEL MILK-RMP/NT) CHAPTER 35 MODEL ANIMAL HEALTH/OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE FOR THE ENTRY INTO THE UNION OF DAIRY PRODUCTS INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION THAT ARE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A PASTEURIZATION TREATMENT (MODEL DAIRY-PRODUCTS-PT) ‘.
