Access to documents and data protection
Article 1
Open ↗Decision (CFSP) 2024/2084 is amended as follows: (1) in Article 5, paragraph (1) is replaced by the following: ‘1. The financial reference amount intended to cover the expenditure related to the EUSR’s mandate for the period from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026 shall be EUR 5 469 515,44.’ ; (2) the following article is inserted: ‘Article 13a Access to documents and data protection 1. The EUSR shall apply the rules laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( *2 ) . The HR shall adopt relevant implementing rules concerning the EUSR. 2. The EUSR shall protect individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the rules laid down in Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( *3 ) . The HR shall adopt relevant implementing rules concerning the EUSR.
