Article 1

Regulation (EU) No 142/2011 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

ANNEX

Regulation (EU) No 142/2011 is amended as follows:

in Annex VIII, Chapter III is amended as follows:

(a)

point 5 is replaced by the following:

‘5.

Records and related commercial documents or health certificates shall be kept for a period of at least two years for presentation to the competent authority.

That obligation does not apply to health certificates for consignments of unprocessed manure and commercial documents for the transport within the European Union of animal by-products and derived products which are issued by means of the TRACES.’;

(b)

point 7 is replaced by the following:

‘7.

Model health certificate and Model commercial document

Model health certificate for movements of animal by-products from restricted zones established for the prevention and control of certain listed diseases

Model commercial document

For the transport within the European Union of animal by-products and derived products in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009
