Open ↗1. Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 shall apply in Hungary with regard to any offence within the competence of the EPPO committed after 1 June 2021. 2. Articles 24 to 27 and 31 of Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 shall apply in Hungary as from the twentieth day of the appointment of the European Prosecutor from Hungary in accordance with Article 16 of that Regulation. 3. To ensure an effective exercise of the right of evocation in accordance with Article 27 of Regulation (EU) 2017/1939, the EPPO and the competent authorities of Hungary may agree on specific modalities for the notifications pursuant to Article 24(2) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1939, as regards offences committed before the entry into force of this Decision.

Open ↗This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
