Article 1

Mr Torsten WELLING, representative of a regional body who is politically accountable to an elected assembly, Bevollmächtigter beim Bund und für Europa, Sport, Ehrenamt und Medien, Staatssekretär in der Staatskanzlei Rheinland-Pfalz (Plenipotentiary of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate for Federal and European Affairs, Sports, Volunteering and Media, State Secretary in the State Chancellery Rhineland-Palatinate), is hereby appointed as a member of the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25 January 2030.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
