Article 2

1. The Commission has acknowledged a total of DM 60,972 million as being R & D costs within the meaning of Article 2 of Decision No 3855/91/ECSC of 27 November 1991 establishing Community rules for aid to the steel industry, and it considers that an aid intensity of 25 % gross is compatible with the common market for steel. 2. The Commission concludes that State aid amounting to DM 15,243 million is compatible with the common market for steel.
