Flax for fibre aid Where a farmer participating in the simplified scheme has concluded a contract in order to obtain an aid for processing the straw of flax grown for fibre as provided for in Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1673/2000, by way of derogation from Article 7(1) of Regulation (EC) No 245/2001, the "area" aid application covering parcels under flax grown for fibre shall be replaced, for the entire period of participation in the simplified scheme, by the declaration referred to in Article 11(1) of this Regulation, without prejudice to Article 5(1)(c) of Regulation (EC) No 245/2001.
