Article 79
1. Contract staff shall be paid from the total appropriations for the purpose under the section of the budget relating to the institution. 2. Each institution shall adopt general implementing provisions governing the use of contract staff in accordance with Article 110 of the Staff Regulations, as necessary. 3. The Commission shall provide a yearly report on the use of contract staff including numbers of staff, level and type of posts, geographical balance and budgetary resources per function group. 4. The institutions, agencies and other entities using contract staff shall provide indicative yearly forecasts for the use of contract staff per function group in the context of the budget procedure.
