Experts on cost-free short-term secondment
Article 24
1. A highly specialised expert may be seconded to the GSC on CFSS to perform specific duties for a maximum period of six months which may be extended in accordance with Article 25(1). Without prejudice to any contrary agreement between the GSC and the administration which seconds the expert on CFSS, such secondment shall not entail the payment of any allowances or expenses for the GSC except, where appropriate, those provided for in Article 29. 2. Subject to Articles 25 to 29, the rules laid down in Articles 1 to 17, 21 to 23 and 30 to 32 shall also apply to experts on CFSS. 3. Without prejudice to Article 8, conduct of an expert on CFSS shall always reflect the fact that the expert on CFSS is seconded to the GSC and shall never reflect adversely on their position at the GSC.
