Rules applicable to infringement

Article 16

1. Member States shall lay down the rules applicable to infringements of this Regulation. 2. Member States shall notify the rules referred to in paragraph 1 to the Commission and shall notify it without delay of any subsequent amendment thereto. 3. In the case of an infringement of this Regulation, Member State competent authorities shall issue a notice of remedial action to be taken by the Union importer.
