This Act may be cited as the National Institute for Sndeteet Scientific and Industrial Research (Incorporation) Act, 1971 and shall have effect throughout Malaysia.

In this Act unless the context otherwise requires- Interpreta tion. "Chairman" or "Vice Chairman" means respectively the Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Council of the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research; "Council" means the Council of the National Institute tor Scientific and Industrial Research; "Director" means the Director of the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research; "financial year" means a yeur beginning on Ist January; "Institute" means the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research; winh the respomsbiny or nid hetr the ime boring charged [Pt.
