(1) Where any person commits an offence under subsection 10(2) or section 15A, the licensing officer may at any time before the commencement of the hearing of the case against that person compound the offence and order him to pay such sum of money, not exceeding the amount of the maximum fine, as the licensing officer thinks fit.
(2) Where the licensing officer intends to compound an offence, he shall give notice in writing of his intention so to do to such person and the notice shall also specify—
(a) the date and place of the commission of the offence and the offence committed;
(b) the sum of money to be paid to compound the offence; and
(c) the date by which payment of the sum of money is to be made.
(3) If such person agrees to have the offence compounded, he shall admit the commission of the offence and shall pay the specified sum of money by the specified date whereupon the licensing officer shall make an order that the offence is compounded and the order shall, mutatis mutandis, also contain the particulars specified in paragraphs (2)(a), (b) and (c).
(4) An order made under this section compounding an offence shall be final and shall not be subject to any appeal.

Kuasa untuk mengkompaun kesalahan tertentu
(1) Jika seseorang melakukan suatu kesalahan di bawah subseksyen 10(2) atau seksyen 15A, pegawai pelesenan boleh pada bila-bila masa sebelum bermulanya pendengaran kes terhadap orang itu, mengkompaun kesalahan itu dan memerintahkannya supaya membayar apa-apa jumlah wang, tidak melebihi amaun denda maksimum, sebagaimana yang difikirkan patut oleh pegawai pelesenan itu.
(2) Jika pegawai pelesenan berniat hendak mengkompaun sesuatu kesalahan, dia hendaklah memberikan notis secara bertulis tentang niatnya untuk berbuat demikian kepada orang itu dan notis itu hendaklah juga menyatakan—
(a) tarikh dan tempat berlakunya kesalahan itu dan kesalahan yang dilakukan itu;
(b) jumlah wang yang hendaklah dibayar untuk mengkompaun kesalahan itu; dan
(c) tarikh selewat-selewatnya jumlah wang itu hendaklah dibayar.
(3) Jika orang itu bersetuju supaya kesalahan itu dikompaun, dia hendaklah mengaku melakukan kesalahan itu dan hendaklah membayar jumlah wang yang dinyatakan itu selewat-selewatnya pada tarikh yang dinyatakan dan berikutan dengan itu, pegawai pelesenan hendaklah membuat suatu perintah menyatakan bahawa kesalahan itu telah dikompaun dan perintah itu hendaklah juga, mutatis mutandis, mengandungi butir-butir yang dinyatakan dalam perenggan 2(a), (b) dan (c).
(4) Suatu perintah yang dibuat di bawah seksyen ini yang mengkompaun sesuatu kesalahan adalah muktamad dan tidak tertakluk kepada apa-apa rayuan.
