Law Reform (Eradication of Illicit Samsu) Act 1976 s 17
In any proceedings under this Act the prosecution shall not be required to negate by evidence any licence, permit, authorization, authority or other matter of exception or defence, and the burden of proving any such matter shall be on the person seeking to avail himself of it.

Dalam apa-apa pembicaraan di bawah Akta ini pihak pendakwa tidak dikehendaki menyangkal dengan keterangan apa-apa lesen, permit, kebenaran, kuasa atau perkara lain kecualian atau pembelaan lain, dan beban untuk membuktikan mana-mana perkara itu hendaklah terletak pada orang yang hendak membela dirinya itu.
