Local Government Act 1976 s 149
Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.
(1) Unless the arrear with costs be paid within seven days from the date of the attachment the property attached or such part thereof as may be necessary shall be sold by public auction: Provided that where the property seized is of a perishable nature or where expense of keeping it in custody will exceed its value it may be sold at once. (2) The expenses of the maintenance of livestock and the custody of moveable property shall be costs of the attachment.
Jualan harta yang ditahan
(1) Melainkan jika tunggakan berserta kos dibayar dalam tempoh tujuh hari dari tarikh tahanan, harta yang ditahan itu atau mana-mana bahagian daripadanya sebagaimana yang perlu hendaklah dijual melalui lelongan awam: Dengan syarat bahawa jika harta yang disita itu daripada jenis mudah rosak atau jika belanja bagi menyimpannya akan melebihi nilainya harta itu bolehlah dijual dengan serta-merta. (2) Belanja bagi memelihara ternakan dan menyimpan harta alih menjadi kos tahanan.
