Local Government Act 1976 s 63

Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.

s 63 Control of public place, etc.

A local authority shall have the general control and care of all places within the local authority area which have been or shall be at any time set apart and vested in the local authority for the use of the public or to which the public shall at any time have or have acquired a common right.

Pengawalan tempat awam, dsb.

Sesuatu pihak berkuasa tempatan adalah berkuasa menjalankan kawalan dan jagaan am ke atas semua tempat dalam kawasan pihak berkuasa tempatan, yang telah atau akan pada bila-bila masa diasingkan dan diletak hak pada pihak berkuasa tempatan bagi kegunaan orang ramai atau yang terhadapnya orang ramai akan pada bila-bila masa mempunyai atau telah memperolehi hak bersama.
