s 27 Accounts and audit
(1) The Universiti shall keep proper accounts and other records in respect of its operation and shall prepare statements of accounts in respect of each financial year.
(2) The accounts of the Universiti shall be audited annually by the Auditor General.
(3) After the end of each financial year, and as soon as the accounts of the Universiti have been audited, but, in any case, before the submission of the annual estimates for the ensuing financial year to the Minister under subsection 26(5) the Board shall cause a copy of the statement of accounts to be transmitted to the Minister, together with a copy of any observations made by the Auditor General on any statement or on the accounts of the Universiti.
(4) The Minister shall cause a copy of every such statement of accounts and observations to be laid on the table of each House of Parliament at its next meeting after the receipt thereof by him.

Akaun dan audit
(1) Universiti hendaklah menyimpan akaun dan rekod lain yang sepatutnya berkenaan dengan perjalanannya dan hendaklah menyediakan penyata akaun berkenaan dengan setiap satu tahun kewangan.
(2) Akaun Universiti hendaklah diaudit tiap-tiap tahun oleh Ketua Audit Negara.
(3) Selepas akhir setiap tahun kewangan, dan selepas sahaja akaun Universiti diaudit tetapi, dalam apa-apa hal, sebelum pengemukaan anggaran tahunan bagi tahun kewangan yang berikutnya kepada Menteri di bawah subseksyen 26(5), Lembaga hendaklah menyebabkan suatu salinan penyata akaun itu dihantar kepada Menteri, bersama dengan suatu salinan apa-apa pemerhatian yang dibuat oleh Ketua Audit Negara mengenai mana-mana penyata atau mengenai akaun Universiti.
(4) Menteri hendaklah menyebabkan suatu salinan tiap-tiap penyata akaun dan pemerhatian itu dibentangkan di hadapan setiap Majlis Parlimen dalam mesyuaratnya yang berikut selepas salinan itu diterima olehnya.
