Oaths and Affirmations Act 1949 s 8

s 8 Evidence of persons of immature age

Any person who by reason of immature age ought not in the opinion of the court to be admitted to give evidence on oath or affirmation shall be admitted to give evidence after being cautioned by the court to speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Keterangan orang yang umurnya belum matang

Mana-mana orang yang oleh sebab umurnya belum matang tidak sepatutnya pada pendapat mahkamah dibenarkan untuk memberikan keterangan atas sumpah atau ikrar hendaklah dibenarkan untuk memberikan keterangan setelah diberikan amaran oleh mahkamah supaya bercakap benar, semuanya benar, dan tidak lain daripada yang benar belaka.
