The Minister may with effect from such date as he may specify, by order in the Gazette, declare an area in the Bintulu District in the Fourth Division of the State of Sarawak to be a federal port to be known as Bintulu Port. Laws of Malaysia ACT 217

Menteri boleh mulai dari tarikh yang ditetapkannya, dengan perintah dalam Warta, mengisytiharkan suatu kawasan dalam Daerah Undang-Undang Malaysia AKTA 217 Bintulu dalam Bahagian Keempat Negeri Sarawak menjadi suatu port persekutuan bernama Port Bintulu.
