s 51 Power of Authority to order vessels to come alongside

The Authority may order any sea-going vessel within the Port to come alongside a suitable quay, wharf, jetty, pier or landing stage which is vested in or under the control of the Authority, for the purpose of landing or shipping goods, cargo or passengers: Provided that such order may be made only where— (a) the vessel has not commenced landing goods, cargo or passengers; or (b) the vessel is about to ship goods, cargo or passengers but has not commenced to do so, and in making such order the Authority shall have regard, as far as possible, to the convenience of the vessel and of the shippers in respect of a particular quay, wharf, jetty, pier or landing-stage.

Kuasa Lembaga untuk mengarah vesel datang ke sisi

Lembaga boleh mengarah mana-mana vesel yang belayar ke laut dalam kawasan Pelabuhan supaya datang ke sisi pengkalan, dermaga, jeti, pier atau pentas mendarat yang sesuai yang terletak hak pada Lembaga atau berada di bawah kawalan Lembaga, bagi maksud mendarat atau pengiriman barang-barang, kargo atau membawa naik atau menurunkan penumpang: Dengan syarat bahawa perintah yang sedemikian itu boleh dibuat hanya jika: (a) vesel itu belum mula mendarat barang-barang, kargo, atau menurunkan penumpang; atau (b) vesel itu sedang hendak mengapal barang-barang, kargo, atau membawa naik penumpang, tetapi belum mula berbuat demikian; dan semasa membuat perintah itu Lembaga hendaklah mengambil perhatian, setakat mana yang boleh, tentang memberi kesenangan kepada vesel yang pengapal itu mengguna pengkalan, dermaga, jeti, pier atau pentas mendarat yang tertentu.
