s 88 Distress in the event of failure to pay damages or costs
(1) The Authority shall, in the event that any damages or costs awarded to it by a court are not forthwith paid, have power to
recover the same by way of distress under a warrant issued by the court.
(2) The court may order a person against whom a warrant of distress has been levied under this section to be kept in safe custody until return can be made to the warrant, unless the person gives security by way of recognisance or otherwise for his appearance before the court on the day appointed for the return.
(3) If it appears to the court by the admission of the person concerned or otherwise that no sufficient distress can be had within its jurisdiction for the purpose of recovering the damages or costs awarded to the Authority under this section, the court shall commit the offender to prison for a term not exceeding six months unless the damages or costs are sooner paid and satisfied.

Tahan harta jika sekiranya tidak bayar ganti rugi atau kos
(1) Lembaga hendaklah, jika sekiranya apa-apa ganti rugi atau kos yang diaward kepadanya oleh suatu mahkamah tidak dibayar dengan serta-merta, mempunyai kuasa untuk mendapatkannya dengan cara tahan harta di bawah waran yang dikeluarkan oleh mahkamah
(2) Mahkamah boleh memerintah seseorang yang terhadapnya suatu waran tahan harta telah dilevi di bawah seksyen ini supaya dijaga dengan selamat sehingga ditetapkan tarikh waran itu dikemukakan, melainkan jika orang itu memberi sekuriti dengan cara sanggupan atau cara lain atas kehadirannya di hadapan mahkamah pada hari yang ditetapkan untuk dikemukakan.
(3) Jika mahkamah dapati bahawa mengikut pengakuan orang yang berkenaan atau selainnya, tiada apa-apa tahan harta yang
mencukupi boleh dilakukan dalam bidang kuasanya bagi tujuan mendapatkan ganti rugi atau kos yang diaward kepada Lembaga di bawah seksyen ini mahkamah hendaklah mempenjarakan pesalah itu selama tempoh tidak lebih daripada enam bulan melainkan jika ganti rugi atau kos itu dibayar dan dijelaskan terlebih dahulu.
