s 13F Application for changing category of licence

(1) A private employment agency may apply to the Director General to change its category of licence in accordance with the categories of licences as specified in the Second Schedule in such form and manner as determined by the Director General and the application shall be accompanied by the processing fee as specified in the First Schedule. (2) The Director General may, after considering the application made under subsection (1), approve or refuse the application. (3) If the Director General approves such application under subsection (2), the Director General shall issue a written notice to the applicant, and within a period of thirty days from the date of a written notice, the applicant shall pay the licence fee as specified in the First Schedule and deposit the money guarantee as specified in the Second Schedule. (4) If the applicant fails to pay the licence fee and money guarantee within thirty days as specified under subsection (3), the Director General may refuse to grant the licence without prejudice to a fresh application being made by the applicant. (5) If the Director General refuses the application under subsection (2), the Director General shall notify the applicant by a written notice of his decision.

Permohonan bagi pertukaran kategori lesen

(1) Suatu agensi pekerjaan swasta boleh memohon kepada Ketua Pengarah untuk menukar kategori lesennya mengikut kategori lesen sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua dalam apa-apa bentuk dan cara sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Ketua Pengarah dan permohonan itu hendaklah disertakan dengan fi proses sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Pertama. (2) Ketua Pengarah boleh, selepas mempertimbangkan permohonan yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1), meluluskan atau menolak permohonan itu. (3) J i k a K e t u a P e n g a r a h m e l u l u s k a n p e r m o h o n a n di bawah subseksyen (2), Ketua Pengarah hendaklah mengeluarkan suatu notis bertulis kepada pemohon, dan dalam tempoh tiga puluh hari dari tarikh notis bertulis, pemohon hendaklah membayar fi lesen sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Pertama dan mendepositkan wang jaminan sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua. (4) Jika pemohon tidak membayar fi lesen dan wang jaminan dalam masa tiga puluh hari sebagaimana yang dinyatakan di bawah subseksyen (3), Ketua Pengarah boleh menolak untuk memberikan lesen tanpa menjejaskan permohonan baharu yang dibuat oleh pemohon. (5) Jika Ketua Pengarah menolak permohonan di bawah subseksyen (2), Ketua Pengarah hendaklah memberitahu pemohon dengan notis bertulis berkenaan dengan keputusannya.
