s 17 Powers of court

The Judge may, on any such application, deal with the matter summarily and dismiss the application or discharge the warrant, or order the release unconditionally or on such terms as he thinks fit of any property seized, or may direct an issue to be tried, and, pending the determination of such issue, suspend the execution of the warrant, or may order the property to be sold and the proceeds of sale to be lodged in court, or may make such other order on such terms as he considers fair as between the parties pending the final determination of the matter.

Kuasa mahkamah

Hakim boleh, di atas apa-apa permohonan sedemikian, menguruskan perkara itu secara terus dan menolak permohonan atau membatalkan waran, atau memerintahkan supaya dilepaskan tanpa bersyarat atau di atas apa-apa syarat sebagaimana ia fikirkan patut mengenai apa-apa harta yang disita, atau boleh mengarahkan suatu isu dibicarakan, dan, sebelum keputusan isu tersebut, menggantung pelaksanaan waran itu, atau boleh memerintahkan harta itu dijual dan hasil jualan diserahkan ke dalam mahkamah, atau boleh membuat apa-apa perintah lain di atas apa-apa syarat sebagaimana ia fikirkan adil di antara pihak itu sebelum keputusan muktamad mengenai perkara itu dibuat.
