Distress Act 1951 s 19

s 19 Sale of property seized

Subject to this Act the property seized under a warrant of distress shall be sold at the time and place named in the notice required by section 9; and the net proceeds of sale shall be applied first in payment of the bailiff’s fees and expenses and then in satisfaction of the rent and costs due by the tenant to the landlord. The balance, if any, remaining over after such payments shall be returned to the tenant or other person entitled thereto.

Jualan harta yang disita

Tertakluk kepada Akta ini harta yang disita di bawah suatu waran distress hendaklah dijual pada masa dan di tempat yang dinamakan dalam notis yang diperlukan oleh seksyen 9; dan hasil bersih penjualan itu hendaklah digunakan pertamanya bagi pembayaran fi dan perbelanjaan bailiff dan kemudiannya bagi penjelasan sewa dan kos dibayar oleh penyewa kepada tuan tanah. Baki, jika ada, yang tinggal selepas bayaran itu hendaklah dipulangkan kepada penyewa atau orang lain yang berhak kepadanya.
