s 6 Appropriation, application of the Financial Procedure Act 1957 and virement

(1) The amounts specified in the Second Schedule in any year shall be appropriated to the purposes of expenditure specified therein respectively and shall be expended in that year by the controlling officer, and, subject to subsection (2), every warrant issued in respect of such amounts shall lapse in accordance with subsection 13(6) of the Financial Procedure Act 1957. (2) If it appears that the sum appropriated to any purpose of expenditure as specified in the Second Schedule in any year will not wholly be required for expenditure for that purpose in that year the Prime Minister, after consultation with the Minister of Finance, may direct that the amount not so required be applied as an addition to the sum available for any other purpose.

Peruntukan, pemakaian Akta Tatacara Kewangan 1957 dan pindah peruntukan

(1) Amaun yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua dalam manamana tahun hendaklah diperuntukkan kepada maksud perbelanjaan yang masing-masingnya dinyatakan dalam Jadual itu dan hendaklah dibelanjakan dalam tahun itu oleh pegawai pengawal, dan, tertakluk kepada subseksyen (2), setiap waran yang dikeluarkan mengenai amaun itu hendaklah luput menurut subseksyen 13(6) Akta Tatacara Kewangan 1957. (2) Jika didapati bahawa jumlah wang yang diperuntukkan bagi mana-mana maksud perbelanjaan sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua dalam mana-mana tahun tidak dikehendaki sepenuhnya untuk perbelanjaan bagi maksud itu dalam tahun itu Perdana Menteri, setelah berunding dengan Menteri Kewangan, boleh mengarahkan supaya amaun yang tidak dikehendaki sedemikian itu digunakan sebagai tambahan kepada jumlah wang yang disediakan bagi mana-mana maksud lain.
