The Director General, Deputy Director Generals, Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors of Electrical Inspectorate and such other officers shall carry out such functions and duties as follows: (a) to regulate the interval and manner in which Be inspectical installation or equipment shal! (b) to devise the nature of test to be employed and to prescribe minimum qualifications and practical experience for any purpose in pursuance of this Act; (c) to investigate any accident or fire involving any electrical installation; (a) to prostallatibese elesrical octhractossa don manufacturers, and competent persons; (e) to issue licences for public and private installations; (f) to prescribe the minimum standards and specifications and appraise and approve, where necessary, any electrical installation or equip- be styled vrate and Directors, ; may be ifficers as ch duties ș, Deputy appointed direction CTORATE enerals ctors o cers shall in which lent shall loyed and and prac- :in the involving gistration tors and ns; ate instalards and ive, where or equip- [Pt.
