s 32 Penalty for false warranty
(1) Any person who in respect of any food sold by him as principal or agent gives to the purchaser a false warranty in writing commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to fine or to both:
Provided that it shall be a defence if he proves to the satisfaction of the court that when he gave the warranty he had reason to believe that the statements or descriptions contained therein were true.
(2) The provisions of subsection 19(2) to the effect that no proceedings shall be instituted after the expiration of one hundred and fifty days from the time of purchasing or procuring any food shall not apply in relation to a false warranty.

Penalti kerana waranti palsu
(1) Mana-mana orang yang berkenaan dengan sesuatu makanan yang dijual olehnya sebagai prinsipal atau ejen memberikan kepada pembeli suatu waranti palsu secara bertulis adalah melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau didenda atau kedua-duanya:
Dengan syarat bahawa adalah menjadi pembelaan jika dia membuktikan hingga memuaskan hati mahkamah bahawa semasa dia memberi waranti itu dia mempunyai sebab untuk mempercayai bahawa pernyataan atau perihal yang terkandung dalamnya adalah benar.
(2) Peruntukan subseksyen 19(2) yang bermaksud bahawa tiada apa-apa prosiding boleh dibawa selepas tamatnya tempoh satu ratus lima puluh hari dari masa membeli atau mendapatkan apa-apa makanan tidak terpakai berhubung dengan waranti palsu.
